Claudia Step is Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Experience Officer for Empower Retirement. In her role, she leads the development of Empower's client experience strategy by promoting our brand, purpose and values through a cross-channel strategy encompassing digital, mobile, phone, paper and face-to-face engagement. She also helps develop a client-obsessed mindset through the governance of cross-functional teams with aligned accountabilities and coordinates all client-facing initiatives to help maintain a holistic customer experience. Claudia joined the organization in 2011 and has 20 years of experience in strategy, product, marketing, pensions and investments management. Prior to joining the firm, she led the product and strategy organization for Fiserv Investment Services, driving the vision of one of the largest platforms that supports advisors in the managed account industry.
Jacquelyn Reardon
Director - Head of Retirement, Insurance, & 529 Marketing @Franklin Templeton
Jacque is Director of Retirement & Insurance Marketing at Franklin Templeton, joining via the Legg Mason integration in 2020. She continues her responsibilities for developing the marketing strategy for the US retirement business, including insurance and subadvisory and DCIO, which she has done since joining Legg Mason in June of 2019. She manages a team of marketing specialists to implement this strategy and partners closely with the sales leaders of each distribution channel to ensure priorities are aligned. She also plays a key role in managing the marketing relationships with many of our strategic partner firms and has helped to implement improved prioritization and communication processes within the broader marketing organization. Jacque maintains Series 6, 7, 24, 63, and Life, Accident, & Health Insurance licenses. She graduated from Villanova University with a B.A. in Psychology and currently resides in Northwestern New Jersey.
Peter Kapinos
Vice President - Head of Consultant, Sponsor and Investment Marketing @Empower
Peter Kapinos is Vice President and Head of Consultant, Sponsor and Investment Marketing for Empower Retirement. In his role, he is responsible for developing engagement strategies for clients in the 401(k), not-for-profit and government markets, including advisor, consultant and plan sponsor programs. Peter joined the organization in 1989. Prior to his current role, he held numerous management responsibilities in areas such as sales, product and relationship management. Peter holds dual bachelor’s degrees from Boston University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He currently maintains the FINRA Series 53 securities registration and the Series 63 state securities license and holds FINRA Series 7 and 24 credentials.
